I'm sad to be leaving but truly I'm done digging. It has been a long couple weeks here and especially the sickness, it makes work a lot harder and I have to take more breaks so I feel useless much of the time. We finished up today and cleaned a little, they will finish cleaning next week and cover things until next season which is 2010.
I'm off to my last lunch at the kibbutz, kind of a relief really, and then a bus ride to Tel Aviv to meet my Mom!

Shannon, it has been a good experience to travel and dig with you during your time in Isreal. What an experience! That is the only way some of us would ever be able to do that.
Isn't it amazing how close you can get with people when you are all on the same page? I am sure it is a sad occassion to have to say good-by to your friends. But family and friends are going to be happy to have you back home safe and full of excitement about your trip. You and Rebecca enjoy the rest of your trip for all of us. Love Grandma
